Mall Road, the Patriata chairlift, Nathia Gali and Ayubia.
🌡️ Live weather: loading…
Route: Islamabad – Murree Expressway, about 80 km (1.5–2 hours).
- Day 1: Mall Road, Pindi Point and Kashmir Point chair lifts.
- Day 2: Nathia Gali and Ayubia — the Pipeline Track walk or the Ayubia chair lift. Return by evening.
What to carry & what you need:
- In winter (Dec–Feb), snow chains for your vehicle — officially advised; check the road status before leaving
- Full winter clothing — heavy jacket, thermals, snow boots with strong grip, gloves, scarf and cap (days 0–5°C, nights below zero)
- A car kit for snow days — full fuel tank, blankets, drinking water, dry food, a torch and a power bank
- In the monsoon (Jul–Sep), a raincoat — rain is near-daily in Nathia Gali and roads get slick
- Fuel and cash sorted in Murree or Abbottabad before heading deeper into the Galiyat
- Book your hotel in advance on snow weekends and Eid — roads jam and can stay closed for days
- Shoes with strong grip for the Pipeline Track and Mushkpuri walks
Note: Leave early on weekends and holidays — the expressway jams badly. In December–February snow, keep snow chains and check the road before leaving.
