About Us — PakRoz

PakRoz (pakroz.com) is a Pakistani website that gathers, in one place, the information and tools people search for every day: gold rate today in Pakistan, dollar rate today, age calculator, zakat calculator, electricity bill calculator, salary tax calculator and mobile packages — plus verified government jobs with official apply links, fully funded scholarships with official programme links, and a free CV maker and cover letter maker. PakRoz is written in English for readers in Pakistan and around the world.

The name "PakRoz" means Pakistan's daily information. We make sure every rate is shown with its date and source clearly written, so you know how old the information is and where it came from. Where a number cannot be confirmed, we do not publish a number at all.

Meet the Founder & Author

PakRoz was founded by Muhammad Faisal, an author and educator from Pakistan. He is the writer behind the romantasy novel Ashes of Defiance and practical guides including Muse Money and The Money Script. He built PakRoz to give people in Pakistan — and visitors worldwide — free, honest daily information: real rates with their sources and dates, verified jobs from official portals only, and tools that run privately in your own browser. One rule guides everything here: no invented numbers, ever.

Our tools

All calculators, PDF/image tools and office tools run in your own browser. Your files and numbers are never uploaded to any server — what you type stays on your device.

Where do the rates come from?

Where a live feed is available, the site loads the live figure first and shows when it was updated. Where it is not, every card shows its last verified rate with its date and source: gold from the All Pakistan Gems & Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), currency from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), tax slabs from FBR / the Finance Act, and electricity rates from the NEPRA tariff.

Jobs and scholarships

Every job listing is checked on its official source before it appears, carries the date it was checked, and links only to the official application page — PakRoz never accepts applications and never charges job seekers. Scholarships are listed only with a link to the official programme website; because application rounds change every year, we do not print deadlines — always check the current round on the official website. PakRoz never charges students either.

How we check what we publish

Our Editorial Policy explains in full how rates are collected and dated, how sources are verified, how corrections are made, how calculations are tested, and how every job listing is verified before it appears.
