What to carry & what you need:
- The PRINTED e-Visa — border officers ask for the paper copy
- Manat (AZN) in cash for markets, taxis and trips outside Baku — cards work across the city
- A windproof jacket in every season — Baku is the City of Winds
- Comfortable shoes for the Old City's cobbles
- A Type C/F (European) plug adapter
- A translation app helps outside Baku — English thins out; Russian is widely understood
